Raisin’ Roots operates on several acres of arable land through the generosity of Dennis Vanderheiden, the property owner. We grow 60+ heirloom and organic varieties of vegetables throughout the year.

Companion planting, soil amending, lack of pesticides and low-till growing practices ensure delicious, nutritious produce and a healthy soil ecosystem for seasons to come.

Raisin’ Roots also produces humanely raised, pastured eggs from 120 laying hens and seasonal pork shares.

Jodar Farms has been raising chickens and pigs for 9 years using free range and pasture based growing methods.  By creating habitats for the animals that allow them to partake in natural behaviors; our products have proven to be some of the highest quality when it comes to flavor, freshness and grade. 

You can find Jodar Farms products on some of the best restaurants' menus in Fort Collins, Boulder and Denver as well  as on the tables of our CSA and farmers market customers up and down the front range.  Our goal is to raise the animals right, harvest the products with care and deliver the highest quality meats and eggs to our customers with the whole story.  These are meat and eggs you can truly trust and feel comfortable feeding to your family! 

Native Hill Farm is a four season, family run, diversified, and intensive vegetable farm located in north Fort Collins, Colorado. We strive to cultivate the freshest and highest quality, naturally grown produce for our neighbors. We farm year round using innovative and sustainable growing practices with a focus on passive season extension techniques, innovation, cover cropping, energy efficiency, and water conservation. We are committed to preserving and encouraging the rich agrarian heritage of this high desert place we call home.

We are honored to be growing healthy and fresh food for our community. Our produce is available through our CSA programs, the Larimer County Farmer’s Market, and at the Beaver’s Market Farm Stand. You can also find our high quality produce on the menu at select Old Town Fort Collins restaurants and cafes and in the produce section at the Fort Collins Food Co-Op.
